From the Mayor of Jamestown:
The Town Board awarded the EWP (Emergency Watershed Protection) construction work to Colt & Steel last Monday night. They have begun to mobilize today and will continue to do so over the next couple days, and then work will begin. With the weather so unpredictable, the timing of spring run-off unknown, the snow pack totals in our drainages and the temperatures fluctuating, they will begin work immediately.
Their working hours will be 7am – 7pm 7-days per week, weather permitting.
They will stage their equipment and materials at the Town Square, the Anderson Street right-of-way and the west parking lot at Elysian Park.
Please contact me or the Town Office if you have any questions.
